The Voice of Emerson, 1944-1963 (incomplete run)

The Voice of Emerson was an employee magazine published by Emerson Electric Manufacturing Company (St. Louis, Missouri). The magazine includes articles and announcements relating to company employees and their families. Some articles are accompanied by photographs (some of these photographs are individual portraits; others are group photographs). Includes frequent lists of employee bowling scores, classified advertisements for carpooling to work, and lists of employees marking service anniversaries with the company. Please note that many of these entries are brief (i.e., “Glad to see Velma Hasseldiek back, all smiles, after her vacation.” “We all regret hearing of the illness of Mrs. Joe Ortmann, and our best wishes for a speedy recovery.”)
