By-Laws, Rules and Roster of Harry P. Harding Post No. 107, Department of Missouri, Grand Army of the Republic (1901)

The Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) was founded in 1866, and became the largest association of Union Civil War veterans. Harry P. Harding Post No. 107 was a G.A.R. chapter located in St. Louis. Entries in this index refer to two lists in this publication: (1) a roster of members, which usually contains the G.A.R. member's name, company and regiment in which he served in the Civil War, residential address, and occupation; and (2) "Our Honored Dead," which contains the G.A.R. member's name and in some cases his death date. In cases in which the death date appears in the list, this date has been entered in this index. Please note that in some cases names in the "Our Honored Dead" list contain no additional information about the member.
