St. Charles County's Participation in the World War: A Record of the Men in Military and Naval Service; a History of War Activities at Home, and a Brief Chronology of the Great War (published by the Honor Roll Association of St. Charles County)

This book includes brief sketches of St. Charles County servicemen in World War I, most of which are accompanied by a photograph. The biographical sketches usually include the serviceman's home town in St. Charles County; rank; parents' names; birth date; date of entry into service; and date of discharge. The men on page 58 are African Americans. The book also includes photographs of men and women working in various home front organizations such as the American Red Cross and the County Liberty Loan Organization.
