Mercantile Club of St. Louis, Portraits of Members Albums. Two disbound portrait albums compiled by Geo. D. Evans; portraits by Evans Studio. Presented to the Missouri Historical Society by Famous-Barr Company, February 1924.

These albums contain portrait photographs of members of the Mercantile Club of St. Louis. The member's name is written at the bottom of each portrait. These names are also listed in an index to each volume. In some cases the index includes a more complete spelling of the member's name than appears at the bottom of the portrait. For example, the portrait of R.H. Stockton is listed in the index as Robt. H. Stockton. In such cases, the more complete spelling of the name has been used.
